Values

The fields "Basic salary", "Number of days" and "Employment level" are dynamic fields (similar to custom fields), which are configured in the corresponding salary type, in this case "1000 Monthly salary". They won't be explained here since there are hundreds of salary types.

The values that are entered here will be inherited by child templates and finally the salary statement which is created from this template.

Scheduling

Only in month
Here you can restrict this salary type to a specific month. For example the 13th monthly salary will only be active in December.

Book entry

Accounts: Debit / Credit
The account assignment, which is inherited from the salary type, can be overridden here. These accounts are used to generate the book entries in the Journal.

Only pre-configuration
By default, salary types configured in the salary template automatically appear on the salary statement. If this checkbox is selected, only the values of the salary type are preconfigured, but the salary type itself does not automatically appear on the salary statement.

Description

Here you can override the label and description, which are inherited from the salary type. They will be displayed on the salary statement.

Cost centers

Here you can override the cost centers, which are inherited from the salary type. They will be set in book entries which are generated from the salary statement.
