Name
Mandatory field
The name of the bank. This can be entered in multiple languages (see Translation field).

Type
Mandatory field
Determines the purpose of the bank account:

Default – Default account used if no other is specified.
Order – Used for order processing.
Salary – Used for payroll accounting.
Historical – Old bank accounts that are no longer in use.
Other – Miscellaneous bank accounts.

IBAN
Mandatory field
The "International Bank Account Number" of the bank account.

BIC
Mandatory field
Short for Business Identifier Code, this code identifies your bank.

QR-IBAN
Switzerland only: A variation of the IBAN required for payments with a structured reference. Check with your bank for your QR-IBAN.

First digits
The first few digits (max. 8) in the Swiss QR reference (not used in the European QR reference). Some banks recommend including the ESR-ID in the QR reference.

E-Banking URL
The web address (URL) of your e-banking login page. This will be linked in the table.

Financial account
Links the financial account (from the chart of accounts) to the bank account. This is important for payroll accounting so that payments are pre-filled with the correct account.

Currency
The currency of the bank account.

Inactive
Inactive bank accounts are displayed grayed out and will no longer be suggested. Instead of deleting a used bank account, it is recommended to mark it as inactive.
