Edit address
Type
Specifies the purpose of the address: Default, Invoice, Delivery, Salary, Historical, or Other. For example, in an invoice, the invoice address takes precedence over other addresses. If no invoice address is defined, the standard address is used.
Company
By default, the person's company is part of the address. If you need to create an address with a different company than the one assigned to the person, you can override it here. If you want to hide the company from the address, check the "hide" box.
Name
Similar to the company, the name (salutation, first name, last name) is part of the address. You can also override or hide it here.
Address
Enter street name, house number, and any additional details (e.g., c/o). The auto-complete feature can help fill in postal code, city, canton, and country automatically.
Zip
The postal code of the address.
Location
The city or town of the address.
Canton
For addresses in Switzerland, the canton can also be specified. This is important for payroll accounting but can be left empty otherwise.
Country
Select the country from a predefined list.
